  • What do I need to take part?

    You just need a flat even surface to dance on and access to the internet to login into your online Charleston course. A bottle of water is also handy!

  • What should I wear?

    We recommend comfortable non-grip shoes. The main thing is you need something that allows you to swivel. Clothing doesn’t have to be sportswear, in fact it’s nice to dress-up a bit and feel the part! Just make sure your clothing doesn’t restrict your movements.

  • How do I track my progress?

    As you complete each part of your course your progress is recorded. When you finish you have the option of submitting a final routine and you can move onto the next level. You have 4 weeks to complete each course.

  • What level should I start with?

    If you are new to Charleston we recommend level one and then progressing to other levels

  • Will I burn calories?

    The Charleston is a great workout. Our online courses include warm-ups, cool downs and cardio exercises. You will benefit from a full workout at home and can burn up to 400 calories an hour.

  • Should I take part if I have a medical condition?

    If you have an injury, medical condition or you are pregnant please get advice from your doctor on what exercise is advisable.
